thats a great close up...
haven't done the water pellet thing myself, but i must say that i like this one.
the tone is great although i would have liked to see more of the shot in focus...
then again, the way it is not, gives the impression that you're analysing one certain section of the leaf...
am i even making sense
It's nice to see composition, that shows some mindwork and planning. Nice idea to keep some of the pic of-focus (with less zoom and more cropping afterwards whole photo would be focused, but it's nicer this way)! Much, much better than my raindrop photo, haha. Raindrops are so romantic don't you think? Somehow sad.. sniff..
Yep, I got your point (:
and I'd have also wanted to see more those drops in focus, but in macro shots the depth of field-range [ what ever ] is kinda small unfortunately.. or fortunately it depends so much on what you like.. and whether you manage to get that small point in focus..
thank you for the comment and I am glad you like it
ooh, sorry, my mistake I want a macro lens too [eikä muutama loittorengaskaan olisi pahitteeksi.. pirun kalliita vaan, jopa nuo sigman omat canonin perällä]
Macro lens was on my wishlist a long time and when I graduated in June I asked my relatives to give me money instead of those traditional mugs and plates and stuff what you get when "you are ready for your own independent life".. And with that money I bought 50 mm.. and because 0,5x magnification wasn't enough for me I later bought also that converter.. and I like it.. though I get easily frustrated when taking some macroshots outside, because there is most of the time this tender wind which is strong enough to take my aim out of focus
